New Moon in Taurus: Identifying Wounds of Self-Expression/ Turn-taking care of Ancestral Gardens
Hello all,
To read this please understand that this New Moon is a part of a New Moon cycle. A New Moon cycle is one New Moon to the next New Moon. Overall, this writing may be used for an entire month. But like all stories, chapters repeat and overlay or should I say cycles repeat and overlay- it is up to us to be mindful of when one story (cycle) ends and the next one begins.
PARENTS:
Parents: this is a good time to think about the groups, long-term goals and exposures/experiences that can broaden the children’s awareness about themselves (what they like, what they can do, hobbies, practice on hard/challenging areas, working on childhood interpersonal relationships, etc.)
How to Work New Moon:
Create step-by-step processes and plans
Use if-then statements (Example: If I write 4 pages on a paper, then I will watch an hour of cartoons as downtime.)
Create check-off lists
Engage in sensory (emphasis touch + smell) regulations to calm down/return to center/etc.
Think about what executive functioning skills are, their importance, and why it is important to have them as an adult (leader, parent, individual, etc.)- (this is a good time to help children establish, build, and strengthen their executive functioning skills)

New Moon Activity:
Water Healing
(You may also speak prayers over the water as a substitute)
1) Fill up a cup of water
2)Look at yourself in the water and speak highly over yourself - tell yourself things that you have done well, your strengths, and how proud you are of yourself.
3)Drink the water.
This purpose of this activity is to train the self (mind) through focused practice. This activity can journey into understanding how what we give and take-in our body can influence our body, mind, and behaviors. Do this activity for 5 days
